Seattle Aquarium

  • Take Virginia St. towards Puget Sound.
  • When you reach the intersection with Pike, you.ll notice that you.re in the Pike Place Market.
  • Turn left and walk through the Market.
  • As you reach the end of the market, you.ll see signs for the .Hill climb..
  • The hill climb is really a long set of stairs that take you down to the pier.
  • Take the hill climb down to the pier.
  • The aquarium is on the Puget sound at the bottom of the hill climb.

Seattle Center: The Space Needle and the Experience Music Project

Walking Directions: You have 2 options, you can walk the whole way, which will take around 20 minutes, or you can walk 5 minutes to Westlake mall and from there take the monorail.

  • To take the monorail, head south on 4th following the monorail tracks.
  • Go into the mall.
  • Go to the top floor.
  • Get in the monorail; it will take you right to Seattle Center.
  • To walk on your own, head north on 4th.
  • You should be able to use the Space Needle as a landmark. The Experience Music Project is also easy to identify. It is a non-linear Frank Gehry designed building in red, metal, and robin egg blue.
