Wedding 2005

let the tunes roll

Alex and I have searched high and low for the perfect wedding band. The question arises... where do wedding bands play when they aren't at weddings? The answer... at Native American casinos! We scoured every casino from the super-stinky Emerald Queen casino in Tacoma to the surprisingly nice Tulalip Casino up north. We even dragged our other soon-to-be-married friends Guido & Laurel with us to Tacoma. After all the searching, we've found just the right band...

Meet Gruvbox.

Want to know what the music will be like? See the band's songlist. Of the songs on the list, we're asking for a motown heavy set.

Zoe Hay is my youngest cousin. She'll be our flower girl. She is the daughter of my father's brother Don and his fantastic wife Lisa.

Zoe likes her 2 cats, speaking Spanish and dressing like a princess. She lives at the top of a tall building in Chicago where she has her own pink castle.

Zoe assures me that after our wedding, she'll be the next to get married. Who's the lucky groom, you ask... her father.

(Zoe is seen here with my brother Owen.)

The invitations are going out soon, which must mean that the wedding is coming soon! Check out this mini video we shot during our invitation envelope stuffing "party".
